Channels is built around honest, open conversation. There are no algorithms pushing engagement or ads rewarding outrage. These rules exist to keep the community worth being part of.
What is not allowed
- Harassment, threats, or targeted abuse of any user
- Posting or linking to illegal content of any kind
- Sexual content involving minors, in any form
- Doxxing: sharing private or identifying information about a real person without their consent
- Coordinated manipulation, vote brigading, or impersonating other users
- Spam: repeated unsolicited promotion, link farming, or flooding channels with off-topic content
- Content that exists solely to harass a specific person, community, or group
Content and channels
- Post in the channel that fits. Off-topic threads may be moved or removed by moderators.
- Channels is not anonymous to moderators. Accounts are pseudonymous by design, but rule violations can still result in action.
- Moderators can remove content, warn users, or ban accounts at their discretion. No appeal process is guaranteed.
Your account
- Your credentials are permanent and cannot be recovered. We hold no email address or identifying information. If you lose access, there is no way back in.
- You may not share or sell your account credentials.
- Accounts found to be operated by bots or automated scripts will be banned.
Enforcement
- First violations typically result in a warning or content removal.
- Serious or repeated violations result in a permanent ban with no prior warning.
- Banned accounts are session-terminated immediately. Credentials remain invalid.
These rules may change. What won't change is that Channels is a place for real people having real conversations. Treat it like one.
